The last couple of weeks I’ve been obsessed with Taylor Swift’s album 1989. In particular Blank Space and Style. The music video of Blank Space is so funny, especially all of the meme’s people make of the video. The title of this post is the lyric a lot of people have been posting and I just love it. When I saw the photos my dad shot of this outfit it just made me think of this part of the lyrics. Already gotten curious? Let’s check it out!
Lace Top: H&M € 24,95 | Pink Jacket: Bershka € 15,99 (sale score!)
This whole outfit is kind of based around the jacket I am wearing. The day after I got back from Paris, I went to Amsterdam to shoot some new photos for an outfit post. But of course it started raining again, typical for The Netherlands. So we decided to check out some of the shops instead of taking photos. And when we went in to Bershka I spotted this pink jacket in the sale, for only 15,99! That’s such a good deal for a jacket like this, so I thought I should try it on and I just fell in love. The light pink color is just beautiful and on the inside it’s so soft.
I paired it with this lace top I got over a year ago. This is one of my favorite tops and I don’t know but I think lace clothing items look the best paired with pastel colors. So this was the perfect match.
Scarf: Unknown (a present)
Pink in combination with the white lace top is really girly so I decided to also wear a dark grey scarf. I got this scarf for my birthday and it’s one of my absolute favorites. It’s a more fancy looking scarf and I could also wear it on more spring weather days because it isn’t that thick.
Chelsea Boots: Graceland € 24,90 | Grey Jeans: Bella Ragazza € 29,95
In all of the outfits I’ve posted, I wore grey jeans so this outfit is no exception. This time I chose these light grey ones. I don’t wear them that often but they are really comfy and of course really easy to pair with all kinds of different colors.
And for shoes I’m wearing these black Chelsea boots. I’ve wanted a pair of Chelsea boots for a while now but I’ve never found the right pair. Some are really pointy and others just make your feet look big. So when I saw these ones, I just had to have them. They are pretty inexpensive and that made it a lot more attractive to buy them. And also… black goes with everything so yeah, why not?
Excitement is getting real when I think of the temperatures getting higher and being able to keep the fuzzy socks in the back of my closet. I think that’s also going to be the time of year when I’ll be wearing this outfit a lot. It’s girly but still chic and a bit edgy. The mixture of pastel pink, white and grey make it also a very wearable outfit for Valentines Day. What do you think of my new pink jacket? Do you have any plans for Valentines Day?
