“What time is it? Summertime! School’s out, scream and shout (I think everyone remembers this song)!” Yes ladies and gentlemen, I can finally say that I have two months off from school! No more classes, no more books and no more tests. I am so excited for this summer, not only for the trips I am going on but also for the plans I’ve made for this summer. A lot of bloggers share their goals each month (which I really enjoy reading), so I wanted to share my ‘resolutions’ (like I did last year) for this summer! This summer I want to…
… go to the beach. a lot. This is such a standard thing to do in the summer but I don’t go to the beach that often and that’s a pity because I really like the beach. I am not really the ‘let’s go swimming in the sea’ type of peron. I do like to walk around the beach, sit in the sand and enjoy the relaxed sound of the waves.
… watch the sunset at the beach. And while I am on the beach (if I actually make it to the beach and make my first resolution happen) I want to stay there as long as possible and actually see the sun set. I’ve already see the sun set a couple of times last year when I was having dinner at the beach but I also want to see it this year.
… organize a high wine with my friends. Yes, you’re seeing it correctly. Last year my friends and I made our own high tea treats and a couple of weeks we came up with the idea to actually do a high wine with lots of snacks.
… go to Rrrollend Leiden. If you have a Facebook account, you should’ve been seeing the lots of Facebook events in your timeline. Well, so did I. But within all these useless events, I actually saw one I would like to attend and that’s Rrrollend Leiden. This is a food truck kind of festival and since it’s near where I live, I definitely want to attend this.
… go to the Rijksmuseum with my mom and grandma. For Christmas we gave my grandma the gift to go to the Rijksmuseum with my mom and I but we haven’t gotten around to it. I have never been here (which I think is really bad), so this summer we are definitely going to the Rijkmuseum.
… post more ‘a day in *blank*’ blog posts. Since I love traveling, I want to share some of my traveling experiences with you. I’ve been trying to post more hotspots & traveling blog posts but since I don’t have school anymore, I definitely want to try and post more of these! Cities I want to explore and share with you are Leiden (which is near where I live so yeah), The Hague, Zwolle, Haarlem and so many more. If you have any requests, let me know!
… make more DIY’s. When I have school, I don’t have that much time to spend a day on making and trying some new DIY’s. That’s why I want to use the free time in the summer to try some new things and also share these with you (maybe there will be a Brandy Melville inspired DIY pretty soon…)!
… start the Body Bikini Guide by Kayla Itsines. Yes, I know what you’re thinking because everyone is doing this. I’ve been in ballet for over ten years and last year I decided this was going to be the last one. Since ballet was my weekly workout, I have to try something else. So I want to try this thing and if it doesn’t work out for me, then I doesn’t. But I just want to see why everybody raves about this. I will let you know how it goes.
… post two blog posts a week in August. Last but definitely not least, this is the most exciting thing for me. I’ve been thinking about posting more blog posts on here for a while now and I finally decided to try it out. So in August I will post something every Wednesday and Sunday. Let’s see if this will work and maybe I will continue posting two times a week!
Those are my summer resolutions! I hope these made you even more excited than I am. I will be going on holiday pretty soon but that doesn’t mean you’ll hear nothing from me. Right now I am working on scheduling posts and I already made plans for the blog posts when I get back… If you want to see me actually making these plans in to reality, follow me on Instagram because I take a lot of photos (just so you know haha). Where are you going this summer? Did you also make a list of what you want to do or achieve?
