Exploring And Shopping Go Good Together | A Shopping Day In Utrecht

I follow lots of different blogs and when I see hotspots I haven’t visited yet, I add them to my ‘hotspots to visit’ list. I have one for Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and a lot more cities in The Netherlands but also outside of the country. When me and my friends still had some time off from school, we wanted to have lunch and shop somewhere. In January we went to Amsterdam so we decided to go to Utrecht this time, since we wanted to wander around a different city. In this post I am sharing four different stores with you, which you should definitely visit when you’re in Utrecht!

All The Luck In The World | Zadelstraat 15

I am starting off with my favorite store out of these four. I actually found out about All The Luck In The World through Instagram. Someone had posted a photo of this store and tagged them. I took a look at their Instagram and added it to my list to visit. So when we were in Utrecht, of course I had to check it out.

First I had a look through the window and it already looked really promising. When we went in they had these minimalistic jewelry pieces (which I love), some small interior stuff (like the lightbox that says ‘nature lover’) and more. It’s a small store but you will definitely find something here that you’ll love.

Sissy-Boy | Steenweg 40

A couple of blog posts ago I talked about Sissy-Boy Daily in The Hague. I discussed what I ate and what it looked like. I also told you that Sissy-Boy is actually a store with clothing items and interior pieces. The store in The Hague is really big and mainly sells interior stuff but I found a Sissy-Boy store in Utrecht that only sells clothing items. I really liked the look of this store and wanted to share it with you. They have lovely (and very good quality) clothes. If I would make a little bit more money, it would all be spent at Sissy-Boy haha (in the photos below you can probably understand why).

KECK & LISA | Zadelstraat 38

Since I got really excited why visiting this store, I didn’t take any photos (I am sorry about that). KECK & LISA is a store that sells different kind of (mostly small) gifts. I don’t want to call it a giftshop because it makes me think of plastic ugly stuff. I saw so many things I would like to have and if you read my desk DIY post, you may have seen the two things that I got there. I got two cards (like I always do), one has a flamingo on it and it says ‘sending you some happiness’ and the other one says ‘get sh*t done’.

Number Nine | Zadelstraat 30

The last store we went to was Number Nine. I had never heard of it or seen anything about it on a blog. I really liked how it looked on the outside so I convinced everyone to go in. I could already tell this would be a really trendy store. Shirts, fedora hats, backpacks and more are sold here. This Herschel backpack caught my eye because I’ve been wanting a backpack for the longest time. They don’t only sell woman’s clothing items and accessoires but also for men.

I’ve been wanting to post this for such a long time and I finally got around to actually writing this. In the near future I am definitely going back to Utrecht to discover even more hotspots (and shop a little bit more). If you know any cute hotspots, please let me know in the comments! Which of these stores would you like to visit as well? What city should I do the ‘A Shopping Day In…’ about?

  1. Echt alleen maar toffe hotspots! Ga ze ook snel toevoegen aan mijn lijstje (ik hou het bij via google my maps, waarbij je verschillende lagen/kleurtjes/etc. hebt, super handig!)
